Factor V G1691A Box 1.0
Typing Kit for Factor V G1691A mutation
Ref. GB.0107

Factor V is an enzymatic cofactor with a central role in hemostatic balance maintainance (involved in procoagulant and anticoagulant process). Norwegian Paul Owren, in 1947, described this mutation based on the study of a patient with severe bleeding tendency. Later on, clinical studies demonstrate that factor V deficiency led to hemorrhagic tendency due to its central role in the coagulation process.

This kit contains typing strips with dried primers mixes and PCR Master Mix for typing of polymorphism G1691A FACTOR V (Leiden).
