Parvovirus is a highly resistant virus DNA with ubiquitous distribution in
the swine
population and disseminated worldwide. The parvovirus multiplies typically pig
intestine without causing clinical signs of visible. However, this virus is the agent
responsible for the swine parvovirus, a disease associated with infertility and its
effects are visible only during the pregnancy.
The virus enters the body of the animal or venereal oronasal route, passing to
the reproductive system through the bloodstream, and ultimately the placenta.
PPV Qual PCR Box 1.0 is a test for molecular diagnosis
of parvovirus infection with greater sensitivity, specificity and faster
than traditional methods of culture.
PPV Qual PCR Box 1.0 detects fragment ORF1 of Porcine Parvovirus. |
