Belong to the genus Pasteurella Gram-negative bacteria in the form
of coccobacilli, immobile and forming spores. The colonization of the respiratory
system causes severe pneumonia, fever and rapid breathing or bluish
discoloration of the extremities in severe cases, leading, in most cases death of
the animal. This bacterium is often opportunistic causing disease in
animals with other recurrent respiratory infections.
Pasteurella Qual PCR Box 1.0 is a test for molecular diagnosis of the genus
Pasteurella infection with greater sensitivity, specificity and faster
than traditional methods of culture.
