Salmonella is a genus of bacteria belonging to the family Enterobacteriaceae
that is commonly referred to as salmonella. Are Gram-negative bacilli in the
form of nonsporulated
not encapsulated. The genus Salmonella is an extremely
heterogeneous, composed of three
species, Salmonella subterranea, Salmonella bongori and Salmonella enterica.
