Mycoplasma bovis is considered the most pathogenic of Mycoplasmas which
infect cattle, and the etiological agent of bovine pneumonia, mastitis,
arthritis, genital disorders and miscarriages. Mycoplasma bovis colonizes
the upper respiratory tract and the reproductive system of both cattle again as
an adult, and is often associated with co-infection with other pathogens, which
is an aggravating factor of the clinical picture.
Mycoplasma bovis Qual PCR Box 1.0 detects the genes coding for oppD and
oppF Oligopeptide ABC transporter, ATP-binding proteins of the
bacterium D and Fd.
