Neospora caninum Qual PCR Box 1.0 (bovines) |
Neospora caninum detection kit |
Ref. GB.1510 |
|
The intracellular protozoan Neospora caninum is the causative agent of
neosporosis, disease in which there is the occurrence of abortions in infected
animals. Cattle and dogs are natural hosts of the parasite, where it grows and
reproduces. Since there are other underlying causes of abortions in cattle and
that Neospora caninum is morphologically similar to Toxoplasma gondii
in particular stages of its cycle, the molecular identification of this parasite
is an important tool.
Neospora caninum Qual PCR Box 1.0 detects the specific region Nc5 of the
genome of Neospora caninum.
Neospora caninum Qual PCR Box 1.0 is a test for molecular diagnosis of
infection by Neospora caninum gender, with higher sensitivity, specificity and
faster than traditional methods of culture. |
