Portugal’s Biotechnology Shines in SPAIN |

After the presence at the BIO International Convention in San Diego, and the presentation to investors at the 1st Portugal International Investors Forum, the Portugal´s Biotechnology will be presented in BIOSPAIN, one of the Europe's largest exhibitions of biotechnology. |

14 biotech companies moved to Santiago de Compostela in Spain, and during three days - from 24 to 26 September – to present products and cutting-edge technology in the Life Sciences scope in a shared stand under the new brand of Portugal’s Biotechnology Cluster: P-BIO – Discovery is in our DNA. Through this group will be represented a very significant number of the new generation Portuguese entrepreneurial projects with high technological intensity. Ideas related to new methods of diagnosis or personalized medicine will be side by side with biosensors and cell therapies seeking to increase their international visibility, addressing new partners, enhancing foreign direct investment attraction and increasing turnover abroad.
The initiative is part of an Action Plan for the Biocant International Project, which runs until June 2015 and will include a range of initiatives to promote the internationalization of Portuguese biotech SMEs It is already be assumed as a key for the internationalization of these companies. The project is led by Biocant Park in collaboration with Portuguese Association of Bioindustries (P-BIO), and is funded by Portugal’s Incentive System for Qualification and Internationalization of SMEs.
